YING who cannot bear to see HUNG cause trouble again is determined to get his son out of Foshan. YU is sad to learn that KWAI, in order to rescue her from being a prostitute, has been trying to supplement their income by moonlighting as a pickpocket. KWAI promises YU that she will never steal again. YU explains to YING that HUNG was only trying to save her and didn’t mean to cause anyone trouble. A thought pops into his head as YING is listening. HUNG begs YING to let him stay in Foshan while YING needs him to make a pact to guarantee that he will not be involved in any more fighting.
