The soul of YUEN dreads far away from home now. YUEN meets a blind lady YI LAN; who performs the Chinese guitar for earning her own living. AH YAT is a driver, who picks up LAN to work daily. One day, YAT realizes that Doctor WING is a well-known doctor in town and might cure the blindness of LAN. He then sells off his wooden cart and all his belongings to help LAN finding Doctor WING for medicine. Doctor WING falls in love with LAN in the first sight and agrees to cure her blindness without charge. The medicine to cure LAN is costly. Doctor WING also spends all his wealth for curing LAN. Three months later, LAN recovers. Doctor WING seizes the chance and proposes marrying LAN at once. The next day, LAN agrees to marry WING and boards on his marriage sedan chair.
