LUNG and LAO go to find JING respectively. LUNG and CHANG have discovered JING when he is helping a poor girl bury her dead father. But just a minute later, JING vanishes again without a trace. JING is robbed of his wallet and thus has lost all his money. He feels so cold and hungry that he has finally stolen a bun. He is caught and sent to a government office for trial. There he is beaten up and later on is even sent to do coolie work. JING is dumped at the unmarked graveyard after he has been beaten unconscious. The late EMPEROR QIN’s birthday is coming soon – just in three days’ time – and LUI fears that JING cannot come back in time to attend the memorial service.
