Prince YAU cannot bear to kill Chai’s soldiers but CHAI points out that Lord of Chai has long forgotten the ties between Ng and Chai. CHAI and LAI fight together against their enemies, in the course of which CHAI gets attacked and LAI flies off to protect him. CHAI feels so grateful to LAI. Ng’s troops have finally got into the city. On the surface Lord of Tsun has come to congratulate CHAI on his victory, but in reality he is trying to intercede for Lord of Chai. He points out that CHAI will benefit more if Lord of Chai agrees to pay reparations and cede land to Ng.
