Having seen how TSO has linked his battleships up with iron chains and planks, SUEN KUEN and his cabinet are all thrilled to bits. Suddenly the sky goes dark and a strong wind comes up from nowhere. The scene is similar to what SHUN saw previously when the time tunnel first emerged in Hong Kong. Knowing that he will soon be back to the modern world, SHUN is filled with excitement. The wind stops blowing all of a sudden, so Ng cannot carry on with its attack as planned. SUEN KUEN asks LEUNG to come for a word and gives CHOU YUE a terrible telling-off. Recalling the climatic phenomenon recorded in the books, LEUNG reveals to SUEN KUEN that he is going to risk his life to pray for the eastern wind.
