YAU asks to call off the engagement claiming that she is all the more reluctant to leave BEI and his two wives. Her request is rejected by BEI right away, though. Knowing that it is he himself who has inspired YAU and in turn caused her rejection of the arranged marriage, SHUN feels a little guilty and decides to lend the girl a hand. But contrary to his expectations, he ends ups giving YAU a lot of trouble instead of help. Not wanting to make YAU a scapegoat, SHUN decides to reveal the truth to BEI but refuses to be punished for what he has done. More than that, he points out BEI’s mistakes and gives him a good telling-off. LEUNG praises SHUN for his quick wit and candour, from which he can find some kind of inspiration.
