LEUNG goes to YING’s maiden home to look for her, but in vain. Later he returns to his hut, and finally gets reunited with YING. Realizing BEI’s lack of confidence in him, LEUNG offers his resignation citing YING’s health problems as the excuse. BEI is filled with remorse and explains that all the bad ideas are proposed by SHUN. Having got a terrible telling-off from LEUNG, SHUN sinks into a real bad mood and means to drink himself into oblivion.
